Emerson man is new EPEE chairman


EUROPE: Jean Janssen, president of Emerson Climate Technologies GmbH Europe has been elected chairman of EPEE, the European group representing the refrigeration, air conditioning and heat pump industry.

A Belgian national, Janssen has over 27 years experience with Emerson and been instrumental in the successful start-up of plants in Belgium, Northern Ireland and the Czech Republic.

The new vice chairman is Juergen Goeller, director sustainability of UTC Climate, Controls & Security EMEA, of which the Carrier air conditioning and refrigeration business units are integral subsidiaries.

A German national, he joined Carrier Commercial Refrigeration EMEA in 2008 as director research, development & engineering and subsequently held several executive management positions in the fields of marketing, communications and sustainability of the Carrier air conditioning and refrigeration business units in Europe.
