NewsTrane adds Thermax chillers
EUROPE: Trane has expanded its chiller offering in Europe with the addition of Thermax absorption chillers.
The exclusive agreement with Thermax Europe Ltd allows Trane to distribute, market and service the Thermax standard hot water and steam-fired absorption chillers through Trane sales offices in most of Western Europe. This includes Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Luxemburg, the Netherlands and Switzerland. Trane will also sell and service the Thermax chillers in Spain and the UK on a non-exclusive basis.
"With this extended offering, we will be able to meet a wider range of customer needs and applications, including hybrid projects, with the sustainable solutions that best fit their individual requirements," explained Manlio Valdes, president of Trane and Thermo King in the Europe, Middle East, India and Africa (EMEIA) region. "The many possible options include combining absorption and electrical chillers for a variety of building applications."
Thermax is headquartered in Pune, India and operates globally through 19 international offices, 12 sales and service offices and four manufacturing facilities - three of which are in India and one in China.
