NewsEx-ACR News publisher becomes Space Air director
A FORMER publisher of ACR News has been appointed director of Space Air Solutions, a subsidiary of Guildford-based Daikin distributor, Space Airconditioning.
Prior to joining Space Airconditioning Mark Houghton worked as publisher of ACR News magazine.
Mark Houghton began working for Space Airconditioning in 1999 and was described by Neil Afram, the managing director as "instrumental in helping to establish our successful subsidiary company, Space Air Solutions", which specialises in supplying the residential market with Daikin air source heat pumps, heat recovery ventilation and air purifiers. In 2008, Houghton, as general manager of Space Air Solutions was tasked with developing sales of the Daikin Altherma heat pump range for the residential heating department.
Neil Afram said:"The figures speak for themselves and as a newly appointed director, Mark will be in charge of an exciting expansion programme".
Mike Nankivell has been appointed to the board of Space Airconditioning.
Neil Afram, founder and managing director of both companies said: "Mike joined us almost 10 years ago and has been key to the success of our pro-active marketing department and new business development activities.
He added: "He also represents Space Air and the industry as a whole, on various advisory groups. As chairman of the ACRIB F Gas Implementation committee, he has played an important part in disseminating crucial industry legislation."
