NewsChillventa to conjure up 30,000 in three days
OVER 30,000 visitors are expected at Chillventa, the international refrigeration and air conditioning exhibition, which opened its doors for the first time.

The welcoming address by the co-ordinator of the Chillventa exhibitors' committee and Daikin GmbH md Werner Rolles was preceded by a German comedic conjuring duo, an apt choice of performers for an exhibition which made the long-established IKK show disappear.
In total 804 exhibitors from more than 43 countries have set up stall in six separate halls at the vast exhibition space in Messe, Nuremberg from October 15-17.
Giant fans, heat exchangers, chillers and other refrigeration and air-conditioning equipment had been forklifted into position, and the mood at exhibition stands was decidedly upbeat.
Speaking from a Chillventa stand in Hall 5 on day one, Andy Wang, the vice-general manager of Sanhua Europe, a Chinese refrigeration controls manufacturer said "Obviously this is the first time we've been here and its very impressive. "There is a lot of leading manufacturers and distributors here. "It's a wonderful window for us to generate business with potential leading customers".
Chillventa visitor Andy Khor, the director of the Malaysia-based refrigeration marketing firm ATC Marketing, told ACR News "I've been to IKK many times. From what I've seen so far, I can say I prefer the look of Chillventa."
“It is absolutely exceptional for a newly announced exhibition to be more or less catapulted from nought to a hundred within slightly less than two years. This is only possible if the industry closely identifies itself with a new exhibition,” said Walter Hufnagel, member of the management board of NürnbergMesse.
"The premiere of Chillventa definitely ends the difficult situation that has existed in the refrigeration and air conditioning exhibition industry here in Germany for some years". "The last two years, as well as the years before, were certainly hard years for NürnbergMesse and for me personally".
He added "What many dedicated organizations and individual figures wanted has now been created, namely a high-quality exhibition in their field that reflects their ideas and concepts to a large extent".
