Product release ATEX zone 1 condenser
The ATEX zone 1 certified Ex-M MCUA Condenser is the first new product release as a result of the partnership. The purpose of the first order of Ex-M MCUA Condensers is to cool mobile containers in ATEX zone 1 and 2 hazardous areas.
Increasing demand for ATEX HVAC equipment
As a result of growth in the marine and oil and gas industry and focus on safety and compliance there is an increasing demand for ATEX bespoke HVAC solutions. From July 2003, new equipment intended for use in gas explosive atmospheres must comply with ATEX regulations. By now, industrial companies and authorities are very aware of explosion safety risks and demand for ATEX-certified equipment.
Reliable performance in the harshest environments
Other key issues in the marine and oil and gas industry are corrosion protection and reliable performance in extreme ambient temperatures. A combination of intelligent explosion protection methods and a condenser with copper tubing and copper fins and stainless steel casing ensures reliable and safe performance, even in the harshest environments. The Ex-M MCUA copper/copper condenser prevents any galvanic corrosion. As a result the technical lifespan is five times longer compared to a standard explosion proof condenser. Optional use of R134A refrigerant guarantees a reliable steady cooling performance at high ambient temperatures. This ensures there are no shut downs due to excessive heat and no loss of cooling capacity.
