Ivan Gonzalez appointed technical director of Jet Environmental

Jet Environmental, a leading provider of temperature control solutions for industrial and commercial buildings, has appointed Ivan Gonzalez as Technical Director.

Jet Environmental, a leading provider of temperature control solutions for industrial and commercial buildings, has appointed Ivan Gonzalez as Technical Director.

Ivan joins the board of directors following two successful years as the company’s Technical Manager. In his new role, Ivan will be developing a broader range of products and services to attract business beyond traditional markets.

Speaking about the appointment, Jason Hibbs, Managing Director at Jet Environmental, said: “As a member of the senior management team, Ivan plays a significant part in Jet Environmental’s technical leadership. I’m delighted that Ivan’s quality and commitment, coupled with our strategy to develop the very best young talent in the business, has led to this appointment.”

Ivan heads the company’s speciality in Air Induction HVAC systems used in a wide range of industrial applications particularly the pharmaceutical, confectionary and retail sectors. Ivan started his career at the University of Vigo in his native Spain before joining ChickMaster in 2008, where held the positions as HVAC Engineer, Project Manager and Sales and Business Administration Engineer.

Reacting to his appointment, Ivan said: “I’m truly proud and excited to be joining a team of highly experienced colleagues on the board. I believe our customers always feel the benefits of our expert service, and I’m confident we can go on to exceed our customers’ needs in future.”

Established in 1981, Jet Environmental works with the UK’s leading consultants, contractors and end users to provide energy efficient climate control solutions for large volume buildings.

The company works across diverse sectors including pharmaceutical, confectionery, vehicle manufacturing and heavy industry. Clients include the NHS, Boots, Alloga, Phoenix Healthcare, GlaxoSmithKline, Sainsbury’s, Tesco, Waitrose, ASDA, Rolls Royce, Jaguar Landrover, The Range, Boohoo, TK Maxx, Argos and B&Q.

The company works in buildings up to 40m high and floor areas of between 1,000m² and over 500,000m². Examples include logistics warehouses, mezzanine areas, retail park stores, leisure and exhibition centres, production facilities and mail service centres.
