Company Background

Refcool Refrigeration are a specialist company dealing with process cooling applications within a variety of industrial applications. As well as providing nationwide service coverage for industrial water chillers, we also design and install bespoke cooling solutions tailored to our client’s needs. Refcool are agents for a well-known water chiller manufacturer based in Europe.  We also have our own manufacturing plant for specialist high end products, such as temperature control for medical Linear accelerators.   

We are expanding our nationwide service department and have a vacancy for a service engineer ideally based south of the M4 corridor. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years refrigeration service experience, be “F” gas qualified and hold a full clean driving licence.

Role Specification & Requirements

This position will suit somebody from within the industry, or somebody wishing to further their experience from commercial refrigeration into the industrial refrigeration sector.

The successful candidate will report directly to the Service Manager, and be responsible for on-site fault finding, fault rectification (for emergency breakdowns), routine on-site service inspections and new equipment commissioning.  This position is supported by an experienced and knowledgeable engineering team, who will provide technical backup on all products.

This job vacancy will allow the successful candidate to become part of an expanding, highly professional team of industrial refrigeration engineers. We will be looking for candidates who can demonstrate a high level of self-motivation and time management. You will need to have good communication skills together with a positive problem-solving attitude.
