Gel-clear to launch Micro-tab

Gel-clear plans to launch its new micro tablet to the market at the HVAC show in January 2018.

Gel-clear offers a simple, low cost, and effective solution to blocked condensate drains.

The new tablet is aimed at tank pumps, splits and cassette units to prevent the leaks commonly occurring as slime and jelly build in the drain lines and pumps.

Gel-clear stated: “The new Micro-tab is the same, award-winning formula, but the tablet's advantages really come into their own in this application.

“Our tablet was always designed with pumps in mind, being 100 percent water soluble, and having no wax residue to cause problems with sensitive pump systems. The tablet works with the pump, coating and protecting and keeping discharge lines clear and free from blockages.

“Another unique aspect to our tablet is the adhesive quality. The tablet will stick where it is placed; simply wet the bottom, and it will adhere to any surface it is placed on. This is a real advantage with small units and tight spaces.”

This is the second addition this year to Gel-clear's double award-winning tablet range.

The company added: “We have to keep in front, working with end-users and service engineers to constantly improve what we do and how we do it.

“Our new Micro-tab has had a lot of interest from the haulage industry, its adhesive quality being a real advantage on refrigerated truck units, and we see transport as an essential part of the cold chain with the same maintenance needs.”

The tablet will be launched at January's HVAC show, with free samples and giveaways.
