With no minimum value of sales to achieve membership, both Infinity Partner and Infinity Partner Elite provide training programmes with extended periods of product warranty and support services to Fujitsu customers. To achieve extended product warranties, customers will need to complete a number of technical training courses each year.
Martyn Ives, Fujitsu’s technical manager said: “We have seen that customers who undertake a comprehensive product training programme are less likely to raise a warranty claim than those who have not been trained. Education is a main focus of Fujitsu and is a key reason why we have taken this step to link the two together in our new approach.”
In recognition of close customer relationships, marketing rebates at 1% of sales shall be provided for partners spending up to £50,000, extending to 2% at £125,000 for Elite partners.
Elite partners will also benefit from a transferable product warranty, meaning that if they inherit a product that has been installed by a third party, the product will be covered by their extended warranty. Fujitsu will further assist at this level with labour contributions, plus a new dedicated out of hours technical help line.
The existing, long-standing ‘Comfort Club’ shall continue as Fujitsu’s customer reward scheme; continuing to provide a 2% rebate of sales as points to any member. These can be redeemed though a collection of high street vouchers, joint corporate events or in Fujitsu’s new online store, where co-branded items can be designed and purchased.
Existing Comfort Club members who meet the training criteria will instantly qualify for the new ‘Infinity’ partner schemes and should submit a completed application form in order to preserve their 2019 extended warranties.
