Castle Carberry Mansion House Hotel.
With over 50 years’ experience in the industry, FSW is a wholesaler of Mitsubishi Electric’s comprehensive range of heating, cooling and ventilation products. Due to rapid growth in the breadth of products, Mitsubishi Electric is now its largest air conditioning brand.
The event, which spanned over two days, offered FSW’s customers the unique opportunity to see how and where their products are produced through a behind-the-scenes production tour.
They were also treated to an overnight stay at the award-winning, Castle Carberry Mansion House Hotel, located on the outskirts of Edinburgh and set against the stunning landscape of East Lothian countryside where they were wined, dined and entertained. The first day’s afternoon also saw customers attend the renowned Musselburgh Races, where a race was sponsored by FSW.
FSW customers were welcomed back to the hotel with live bagpipe music in the gardens and a private talk about the history of Carberry Mansion. With their newly acquired historic knowledge and experience of authentic Scottish tunes, FSW customers ended the evening by privately dining in the hotel’s prestigious Music Room.
The second day saw FSW customers visit to the MEUK Factory in Livingston where they were received by the factory manager, who gave a presentation and tour of the production lines. Through this, customers were able to see how specialist air-conditioning equipment is made, witnessing the full manufacturing process of power and standard inverter systems from their beginnings as assembly line components right through to their completion as a fully working outdoor unit, including their power and pressure testing.
The factory guests were additionally given the chance to see the test bays for the Ecodan air to water heat pump, before breaking for lunch.
Speaking about the event, Steve Dinning, sales director of FSW UK Group, commented: “We thoroughly enjoyed hosting this event. We think it's important to work closely with our clients, and for them to be able to see first-hand how, and where, these products are made.
“We are grateful for the opportunity to offer them this experience and would like to thank all the staff at Carberry Hotel, Musselburgh Races and the factory for their hospitality, and help in making this happen.”
