First Choice has achieved ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management System Certification, demonstrating its unwavering commitment to continuous improvement.
For a number of months, the company has thoroughly reviewed its internal processes to create a Quality Management System that is capable of consistently delivering a service that both meets and strives to exceed the customers’ needs and expectations.
The management system was then independently audited by Mark Taylor from BSI (British Standards Institute). For the company, BSI was the obvious choice to use as they are among the most respected and reputable management system certification bodies in the world. This demonstrates to First Choice customers, competitors and suppliers that we are not only using industry-respected best practice, but it also shows our continued commitment to providing a service of excellence.
Being ISO 9001:2008 Certified now means that the company operates using the ISO guidelines and will be regularly reviewed to ensure a consistent approach is maintained. The company is completely committed to total quality management, with an emphasis on customer focus, continual improvement and a process approach implemented throughout the organisation.
At First Choice we are extremely proud of our ISO 9001:2008 Certification and that it represents and reinforces our dedication to our customers and to the industry.
The company’s directors said: 'Our success is based on the satisfaction of our customers and the ability to offer a service of excellence. The introduction of our Quality Management System will play a significant role in ensuring that we are coherent with our overall objectives. Our commitment to our customers will include a constant review of our processes and an introduction of the latest technology to ensure that our processes are efficient and effective, together with a promise to listen to their needs in an ever-changing environment.'
They added: 'We also recognise that our staff are our greatest asset and we will invest in their training and development so they are empowered to achieve their full potential and work towards our company objectives on a united front.'
