Emerson Climate Technologies keeps expanding its horizon

Emerson Climate Technologies has developed an unequalled range of products for the refrigeration and air conditioning markets, for example computer rooms, cold storage, retail, etc. In recent years, the company has become a major solutions provider to the heat pump industry. Its range of Copeland®, Alco Controls and Dixell products addresses the very diverse needs of these markets. The offering includes an extensive array of Scroll and reciprocating compressors. The Vilter screw compressor has recently been added to the range thereby increasing dramatically the capacity coverage into the industrial applications. Almost all other components constituting a refrigeration circuit are offered as well. And to ensure that these components function at their best, the offering includes electronic solutions for control, regulation, monitoring, and servicing. There are currently16,000 employees developing and delivering these products manufactured in 30 plants worldwide.

Strong in Europe

Alongside the emerging markets in Asia, Europe continues to be a very important market for Emerson. Emerson Climate Technologies Europe is headquartered in Aachen, Germany. A total of five production sites in Belgium, Italy, Northern Ireland and the Czech Republic form the core manufacturing base. R&D centers in Welkenraedt (Belgium), Mikulov (Czech Republic), Waiblingen (Germany) provide extremely short innovation cycles and enable new developments to not only meet market requirements but also to redefine the limits of technology. These centers are part of a global network of development centers. Through its collaboration with its sister organizations in the USA and Asia, Emerson Climate Technologies Europe provides its customers with access to a unique network and market expertise.
