Embraco says that turning new ideas into new high efficiency products is what sets it apart in the global market for hermetic compressors.

The company has added a new product to its NT platform, the series developed to satisfy the increasing demand for lower energy consumption and lower noise levels of commercial refrigeration equipment, extending its cooling capacity up to 1350W and efficiency level up to 1,56W/W LBP R290 with the new NTX.

The new compressor NTX is the ideal solution for all traditional commercial refrigeration applications, such as refrigerated islands, professional kitchen equipment, coolers, reach-ins, ice cream makers, glass door merchandiser/upright cabinets, walk-in coolers and ice cream cabinets. Available with green refrigerant R290, it represents an intelligent solution to fulfilling the upcoming EU F-Gas ban regulation and to meeting efficiency directives worldwide.

The NTX compressor is highly reliable and compared with other compressors of the same NT family, it has a suction tube opposite site for an improved efficiency and offers a better performance thanks to the optimised motor and manifold. NTX comes with a new CSR box integrated on the compressor and integrated terminal board/anchorage that make it easier to assemble. The new CRS box guarantees a higher IP protection and will be introduced for all Embraco products.

Thanks to its technical improvements, the new NTX has an increased cooling capacity of 12% more in comparison with NT family and a better efficiency of +10%.

Embraco has also launched the NJX, which it claims is the first 2HP compressor with one cylinder in the market. The company says it is an ideal solution for all commercial refrigeration applications up to 1770 WLBP (refrigerated islands, milk coolers, coolers, glass door Merchandiser, upright cabinets, reach-ins, ice cream makers and cabinets, walk-in coolers).

Its new 38cc displacement (equivalent to 50cc on the market) can stretch the cooling capacity up to 2HP for LBP, with an improvement up to 30% in comparison to the current NJ Embraco solutions on the market.

NJX stands out for its robustness, high reliability and improved performances. Available with green refrigerant R290, it is an intelligent solution for the upcoming EU F-gas ban regulation, ensuring high eco-sustainability and zero effect on the ozone layer. NJX is lighter at 15kg less in comparison to the current 2 cylinder solution on the market (R404A) and has lower noise emissions, Embraco says.

Separately, the company offers its Fullmotion technology for high efficiency refrigeration systems. Fullmotion is the variable speed compressor technology that it is claimed can save up to 40% energy compared to conventional products. The compressor adjusts its cooling capacity according to refrigeration need, optimizsing energy consumption.

VNJ is the first variable speed compressor in NJ family. Working in a range of 1908-3650W at speed range 1800-4200 RPM, it is designed for big commercial refrigeration applications, such as refrigerated islands, big chest freezers, upright cabinets, reach-ins, glass door merchandisers and walk in coolers. Its robustness, high relialbility and low noise level make it the right choice for traditional commercial applications. Variable speed technology guarantees better temperature stability, adjusting cooling capacity based on real need and optimising energy consumption. VNJ is easy to install and is available in Gemini version.

VNEX is the variable speed compressor for L/MBP application. Ideal for vertical freezers/coolers, vending machines, island coolers, chest and glass door freezers, reach-ins, ice cream machines and display cases, it has a cooling capacity range of 292-599W at speed range 2000-4500 RPM (+ 8% compared to VNEU). The extended working envelope ensures higher efficiency level (+8% at 3000RPM compared to VNEU) and reduced energy consumption. Moreover, VNEX is completely environmentally friendly, since it works with natural refrigerant R290, with no impact on the ozone layer.
