Danfoss Optyma Plus INVERTER qualifies for ECA

For the third time this year, a range of Danfoss condensing units has been accepted on to the ETL approval list.

For the third time this year, a range of Danfoss condensing units has been accepted on to the ETL approval list.

This time it is the Optyma Plus INVERTER, which combines premium condensing design with the unique benefits of stepless inverter scroll technology.

From 1st November 2016, all models of Danfoss Optyma Plus INVERTER packaged units have been approved for ECA allowance.

Paul Szyszczak, business area director at Danfoss commented: “With the addition of the Optyma Plus INVERTER units, all three ranges of Danfoss packaged units are now eligible for an ECA allowance enabling end users to choose exactly the refrigeration unit that is right for them”.

The Optyma Plus INVERTER is ideal for applications involving multiple display cabinets and cold storage areas from a single condensing unit. The adaptive package offers maximum energy efficiency and is suitable for medium and high temperature applications in the range of 2kW to 9kW at -10 C° evaporating, 32 C° ambient with R407A/R407F and R404A. Qualifications for R448a and R449a are ongoing and are expected to be approved in the near future.
