Daikin UK signs distribution agreement with Oceanair UK

Daikin UK has signed an agreement appointing Oceanair UK as a UK distribution partner, effective from September 2017.

Oceanair will be expanding its offering to include Daikin UK's industry leading heating and cooling solution, a move which supports its plans to enter new markets.

An award-winning distributor of air conditioning and heating products, Oceanair supports consultants, installers and end-users in achieving their climate control objectives by offering cost-effective and energy efficient solutions.

With a combined wealth of industry experience, Oceanair and Daikin share a common drive to help clients reduce their energy consumption using heat pump technologies – a focus which is reflected in both companies holding Carbon Trust accredited status and being included in the Green Business Directory.

Managing director of Oceanair, Tony Evanson, commented: “We’re thrilled to be working with Daikin. The company’s strong market share reflects its vast range of equipment and allows us to enter new markets, offering customers state-of-the-art solutions.

“With our current product offering, we already know how to be competitive and develop innovative, energy efficient solutions. By expanding our range to include Daikin products, we aim to grow the business by adding new technologies to target new business areas. That is why we have invested time and effort in training our staff and updating our website, in order to improve our customer service and ensure the success of this launch.”

Now with access to Daikin UK’s innovative portfolio of air conditioning and heating solutions, Oceanair will be able to offer Daikin’s leading VRV and Altherma technologies. Also available will be the Sky Air A-series, which pioneers R32-based energy efficient and environmentally friendly technology and is the latest addition to the Daikin Bluevolution range.

Mark Dyer, sales director for Daikin UK, said: “We have been particularly impressed by Oceanair's dedication to providing a top quality service to their customers. The Oceanair team is highly focused and has already completed product training, led by Daikin UK experts, to understand how Daikin products can be best applied to create the most energy efficient solutions.

“We are delighted that Oceanair has chosen Daikin and we look forward to working with Tony Evanson and his team to further expand the solutions offering, while giving Oceanair the opportunity to expand into new markets.”
