Transforming Technologies ConferenceThe Transforming Technologies conference in London on March 3, 2010 has prompted praise from its attending delegates. The conference was jointly hosted by ACR News and Business Edge's MD Mike Creamer, brought together experts from the acr industry to discuss the air conditioning and refrigeration technologies of the future. The event took place at the Institute of Mechanical Engineers (IMechE) - a two minute walk from the Houses of Parliament. Delegates described this conference venue as impressive. Lunch and short breaks during the one-day conference helped delegates network with each other and key speakers. The conference's programme of presentations got great feedback from delegates. "An Overview of Oil-Free Turbine Compressor Technology" by Georg Schöninger prompted one delegate to say he was "looking forward to seeing these machines in the field as would appear to be one of the best products on the market at the moment". Another delegate was so impressed with Klas Berglof's presentation on "Performance Inspections for Optimisation of Existing Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning Plant", he bought the Climacheck product.
