Over 300 people from all sectors of the air conditioning and refrigeration industry saw Foster Refrigerator’s +stayclear crowned as refrigeration product of the year in the ACR News Awards 2016.
The event was held at the brand new Vox Conference Centre in Birmingham and also saw Klima-Therm and Gree taking the environmental product of the year for its photovoltaic-powered centrifugal chiller and further winners included Climalife, Stonegrove Refrigeration and Business Edge.
The only award voted for by the industry itself, the Customer Service Award went to Matthew Hearne from Capital Cooling, and the Alan Moor Award for the unsung hero this year went to FETA’s Mike Duggan who has given 25 years’ service to the industry sitting on a wide variety of boards and standards groups.
The audience saw Cool Science take the marketing award for its fun and innovative initiative aimed at young people considering their career choices, while ChillAir Training Academy picked up the training award for its relaunch of the Birmingham Society of Refrigeration and Air Conditioning.
