More than 240 people from all sectors of the air conditioning and refrigeration industry saw Mitsubishi Electric’s Hybrid VRF named as Air Conditioning Product of the Year at the ACR News Awards 2017, which took place last night (23rd March).
More than 240 people from all sectors of the air conditioning and refrigeration industry saw Mitsubishi Electric’s Hybrid VRF named as Air Conditioning Product of the Year at the ACR News Awards 2017, which took place last night (23rd March).
The event was held at the Chelsea Harbour Hotel in London and hosted by comedian Ed Byrne.
The night also saw Adande’s A+ Fridge scoop the Refrigeration Product of the Year title, while Klima-Therm won the Air Conditioning Ancillary Product of the Year category with its Teslamiser. Other winners included Stonegrove Refrigeration, Vertiv, Johnson Controls and TF Solutions.
The individual Customer Service Award went to Celia Dickinson, while the Customer Service Team of the Year was Fujitsu. The Alan Moor Award went to Alan Green and, in a new category, the Unsung Hero of the Year award was won by Jacky Winterton.
The Apprentice of the Year was revealed as Dan Lapworth, while Gary Dowsett won thre Service Engineer of the Year accolade.
This year's awards were sponsored by Hawco, Smith Brothers Stores, Bitzer, Advanced Engineering, First Choice Refrigeration, Fixxy, Refcom, Samsung and Toshiba.

A heads and tails game was held in honour of our chosen charity, which was won by Warren Davies of DYSK. His prize is two Club Wembley Gold Tickets. The Samaritans were the charity for the evening, and £1185 was raised.
